Project Description
A new building of Read Dunning School that is located at 4071 North Park Oak Park Avenue. The Work includes the construction of a new 135,000 square foot school and associated site development. The new school is comprised of a three-story Academic Wing and a one-story Athletic Wing connected by a high ceiling, one-story link, which also serves as the main entry to the school. The subject site encompasses approximately 20 acres of land and includes a vacant field, utility tunnels and remnant building foundations at 4071 N. Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The irregular shaped site is bounded primarily by Bittersweet Place to the north, by N. Normandy Avenue, to the east, N. Oak Park Avenue to the west and W. Irving Park Road to the south.
4HD, Inc Role. HD observed all the Contractors activities, supervised and inspected all contractor work. 4HD’s work included environmental assessment, material coordination, concrete crushing, material transfer and replacement, storm sewer utility, installation of newline and material sampling and testing.
