Project Description
The 2014 Project which located in both Cook County and Du page County was to include hundreds of Villages streets with more than 20 miles of intermittent curb repair and asphalt resurfacing at various locations throughout all four Villages.
The project was mainly to Improve and resurfaced of certain streets that required complete reconstruct with base course, compacted and form 14” depth curb and gutter
Utility structure repairs. Replace damaged curb and sidewalk. Grind and replace asphalt.
While Construction in Progress, streets remain open. Even when barricaded used, the signs will say “Local Traffic Only”. It is very important to keep streets open during construction, so that emergency vehicles can access all locations. It is also important to keep streets open for deliveries and access for the residents who live on the street.
